Mocha Layered Dessert

Here is another very simple recipe for you to make in about an hour and requires very basic ingredients which tastes delicious! Here we go!!

Ingredients

  • 20 Marie Biscuits, crushed
  • 50 gm Butter 
  • 500 gm Chocolate Cake (you can use our Extreme Chocolate Cake recipe)
  • 1l Coffee Ice-Cream (softened)
  • 5 gm Cocoa Powder
  • 10 gm Dark Chocolate Chips
Recipe
  1. Melt the butter in the microwave. 
  2. Add the melted butter to the crushed marie biscuits and mix until forms a crumbly soft mixture.
  3. Spread this mix evenly in your tray and pack it down.
  4. Let it refrigerate until the base is firm.
  5. Next, crumble your chocolate cake and spread it on your base and pack it down.
  6. Spread your ice-cream evenly over the cake.
  7. Lightly dust with cocoa powder and garnish it with chocolate chips.
  8. Freeze until the ice-cream has solidified.
  9. Before serving, let the dessert defrost a little.

Tips & Tricks
  • You can substitute the Marie biscuits for any sweet bicuit such as Parle-G
  • You can also substitute the coffee ice-cream with chocolate ice-cream for a sweeter dessert
  • You can substitute cocoa powder with coffee powder
  • You can make these in individual serving dessert glasses or sturdy muffin liners
